    They have even chosen to name their House, Steve's Maple House of Pen.  Join us at a meeting to find out what it means!

    Craft Week #1

    Let's make stuff! Each day we'll work on a new project.  Learn color theory with watercolors, make a dream catcher, diamond paint a super hero or princess,  create a Perler bead masterpiece, and decorate a tote bag with your favorite character.  The best part is we provide all the supplies.

    Meeting time 1pm -3pm (we may end a little early on any given day depending on the activities that day)

    Minimum 2 registrants required for camp to take place

    Maximum 10 registrants for this week

    The geeky details:

    Registration will close June 21, 2020 this will allow us time to send out the week's supplies prior to camp 

    Upon registration you will receive a separate confirmation email requesting your mailing address.  In addition we'll send a short questionnaire as there will be choices for some of our crafts, so each camper will have their own unique projects. (sample pictures are coming) We recommend your child have access to a pencil and paper daily and water when we are painting to rinse brushes.

    A Zoom meeting link will be emailed to you daily for the next day's meeting.

    Active Geek Girls Society members $125/week

    Non-members $150/week

    Terms and Conditions: Cancellations prior to June 19th will be eligible for a full refund.

    Cancellations made after June 21st will be held a as a credit on your account towards a future activity.

    Our online Dungeons and Dragons campaign for kids is continuing.  New players are welcome, however you'll need to attend a longer first session where you will create your character.  Since it is now summer, this group will be meeting every Saturday.

    These sessions are appropriate for children ages 10 and up and will be limited to 8 participants overall.   

    Our loose schedule this round is as follows:

    New Players week 1: Character Creation then Game Play (this session will start at 10:00am on 7/4 and will end at 12:30pm)

    Returning Players week 1: Game Play (this session will start at 11am on 7/4)

    week 2: Game Play (starts at 11am)

    week 3: Game Play (starts at 11am)

    week 4: Game Play (starts at 11am)

    By signing up, you are committing to attendance at all 4 dates.  Refunds will not be given for any dates missed.

    New Non-members (those that have not played with our Saturday group) $75

    Returning Non-members $60

    New Geek Girls Society Members (those that have not played with our Saturday group) qualify for a discounted rate of $50 

    Returning Geek Girls Society Members qualify for a discounted rate of $40

    For our Tshirt activity - you will need to provide a solid color tshirt (any color will work) we will send all other crafting supplies


    Craft Week #2

    One week isn't enough for all the crafting we want to do.  During this week we'll work on a new project each day.

    Crafts for this week include making a hanging garland, painting one of your favorite characters on a tshirt*, Pokemon Diamond Painting, Perler bead fun and sewing a felt doll.

    Geek Week

    It's a big geeky world and during this week's activities we'll take a look at it!

    Some of our activities will include talking about and reading comics, a beginner's drawing course where we will learn how to draw a super hero, exploring wizarding worlds, watching anime and making our own light saber pens (which side do you choose?  Rebel or Empire?) It will also be a great week to talk about what you are a fan of with the other campers.
